IMPRESSIONS
Once you’ve decided on a device model, our audioprosthetists will take impressions of your ears so that your hearing aids can be customized. As a general rule, you must allow 10 to 15 days for the manufacturing of your hearing aids.
Impressions take only a few minutes. The audioprosthetist begins with a visual exam of your external auditory canal and then injects a silicon paste which, once hardened, will be used to make your hearing aid. A second visual exam of your auditory canal is then completed to ensure that no silicon residue remains.
