Hearing screening: take care of your hearing health

Regular hearing screening is recommended to detect hearing loss and take prompt action. Our hearing screening service offers you a personalized summary assessment, performed with state-of-the-art equipment.

Step 1: Personalized hearing assessment: analysis of your hearing loss
We start with a questionnaire about your hearing history and lifestyle. Do you experience ringing or buzzing in your ears? Is it difficult for you to follow a conversation in a group? This information enables us to draw up an initial assessment.

FAQ

Your hearing changes over time, and can be affected by a number of factors, including age, exposure to noise and certain illnesses. A hearing test enables us to identify any problems early on, and envisage appropriate solutions. Prompt treatment can preserve remaining hearing, prevent hearing loss from worsening, protect cognitive functions and improve quality of life.

Hearing screening begins with an interview to gather information about your hearing health. The audioprosthetist makes a visual examination of your ear canal and eardrum, and then checks the sound level at which you begin to hear (hearing thresholds). If your hearing is not within normal limits, you will be referred to other professionals. Hearing screening enables us to detect any hearing loss at an early stage and adapt appropriate solutions. Our audioprosthetists are trained to support you every step of the way!
